Deputy Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces receives Chinese Naval Officer

Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Staff Major General Ali Mohammed Subaih Al Ka'abi, received in his office here today morning at the General Headquarters Commodore Qiu Yanpeng, Deputy Chief of Staff of the East China Sea Fleet of the Navy and Commander of the Chinese naval escort taskforce for protection of the navigation in the Somalia Sea.

The Chinese warships arrived at Zayed Port Wednesday. Al Ka'abi welcomed the Chinese official in presence of Navy and senior UAE Army officers. He lauded the bilateral relations between the UAE and China in all cooperation fields, particularly in the areas of defence and security. He added that such visits strengthen exchange of expertise, consultations and create joint work between the UAE and Chinese Navies.
